Queen Square Consultant Neurologist Dr Richard Sylvester features in The Independent newspaper today, where he discusses football-related brain injury.

Dr Sylvester, who has co-written the FA’s guidelines on managing concussion, sheds light on a recent study by the University of Stirling which led to calls for the banning of football in certain age groups due to fears that injury caused by heading of the football could affect memory and cognitive performance both in the short, and long term.
