About Dr Simon Farmer
Dr Farmer is a Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
He has a particular expertise in general diagnostic neurology, movement disorders (including treatment of Parkinson’s disease, tremor, ataxia, dystonia, myoclonus and functional movement disorders), neuro-ophthalmology (including optic neuritis, pituitary apoplexy and disorders of eye movement) and spinal disorders.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Farmer is also active in basic and clinical neuroscience research at the UCLH Institute of Neurology in Queen Square, and regularly lectures in the UK and abroad. He is also active in neurology and neuroscience education.
