About Dr Rugg-Gunn

Dr Rugg-Gunn is Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square.

He has extensive experience in the evaluation of patients presenting with ‘fits, faints and funny turns’ and in the medical and surgical management of patients with epilepsy.  He has a number of research interests, in particular in the localisation of epileptiform activity and neural synchrony, advanced MRI sequences and cardiac arrythmias in epilepsy.  He is a member of the International League Against Epilepsy and the Association of British Neurologists.
