About Dr Brent Elliott
Dr Elliott trained in Medicine between 1996-2001 at St Bartholomew’s & The Royal London Hospitals’ School of Medicine and completed his training in adult, liaison and neuropsychiatry in January 2009. He has been a full-time NHS consultant psychiatrist ever since and is now Associate Clinical Director for the Liaison Psychiatry Service at St Bartholomew’s & The Royal London Hospital.
Being a Regional Neuroscience and Major Trauma Centre, a significant proportion of the patients he sees have neuropsychiatric disorders. The remainder have more general psychiatric concerns in the context of significant cardiac, chest, endocrine, renal or oncological disease.
Between 2011-2016 he was an Honorary Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at the Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy, part of the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery.
